Whitney Houston

A saddened death of Whitney Houston was very devastated to all the fun's and family of Whitney. She's a pop legend that contributed a history in the music industry. Her voice was a given gift that not all of us can have. I watched the Grammy party awards night and I was wondering how they enjoyed the party knowing that someone who was supposed to be there like Whitney just passed away. I also watched Chaka Chan's interview and she was not happy of the party. Whitney Houston was someone who will not believe that saying that "the show must go on" if something is not organize or something is not right.

Whatever the reason of her death, the moral of this real event is everyone goes there. We can prolong life but we can not stop death and that's make our life worth it living. The latest update about Whitney is her funeral will be set on Saturday in NJ in the church where she showcased her amazing talent since she was a child. She was started as a gospel singer and brought herself to stardom. She's one of the best singer that existed. May she rest in peace and hope that the unpleasant speculations about her death must be stop. I guess we just need to respect that she's resting and returning to the creator. Greatest Love Of All...

Lame Sunday

You can't believe it, until now I am still trying to figure out the US bills. I am not slow in math, I can count perfectly or I can do my math very good. But US bills are just confusing. The dime is bigger than the penny and geese it drives me nuts. I want to work at the bank and will try to deal with money but that would be nerve-racking. I need to be more familiar of this bills first and i will go from there. I am  supposed to go to church today but I am not feeling that good. I had a terrible headache last night probably because I'm in my period. Happy Sunday everyone! Good choises start with positive views. Let's make it as a habit and live what is right.

Italian Ship Sunk

I was stunned when I saw the news about the capsized cruise ship accident. There are a lot American in the vessel and it was really bad. The ship sunk so quick when it hits to the reef. Until now the rescuer where trying to find any body underwater. They called this ship as an Italian Titanic and owned by an American. Accordingly there are still a lot of bodies trapped inside the ship. Until now nobody could certainly explain why this boat hit the rocks that causes the vessel to sunk. It is a terrible tragedy that happen very sudden. A lot of the passengers where just trying to have fun and spend quality time with their love ones but sometimes accidents happen. The rumors where spreading that the captain already abandoned the ship early before the ship sunk to the ground.

Marquez Used a Stopper style to cheat????

There's a lot of articles and videos speaking out about the fight of Marquez and Pacquiao. Some says that pacman should not win and marquez is the real winner. I read some comments and speculations both parties fighting over what really happen. A video shows that Marquez used a stopper style to make Pacman's fight hard, according to some people that it was a form of cheating.

The fight was really close and tight but when they announced that Pacman did won, my pride of being a Filipino was ignited. I feel happy regardless of hearing the crowd booing and unhappy. I did not understand it. I also feel sorry to Marquez of watching him became so confident rising his hands as a winner.

I watched a video from utube showing how Marquez cheated. Oh well if its true or not, the result was already done and announced. If you guys want to see it just google it.

Snapped

Snapped! snapped! it's a show that provides detailed analysis of the case. Their episodes help us to understand the story of the case. Most of the case is murder. I love watching it because the evidence is uniquely define and discovered. They established enough evidence to nocked down the criminal. I love wacthing how the deliberate the case and at the same time how they delivered the verdict. I have so much to say about the show and I can say it in two words " extremely amazing".  It is a snapped indeed!

Her voice is a legend...I love and adore her talent. She's exceptional and a darling. She represent's filipino talent. I wish I know how to sing...I wish if I will have another chance to become a singer lol. Poor me wishing the for impossible. Anyways this is one of my favorite song...Enjoy!

3rd Year Anniversary

The weather change so fast even the time. It gets darker after 7 pm and gets colder too. I remembered that tomorrow is my 3rd anniversary of being here in the states. I can not believe how time fly so fast. Within 2 years I was able to accomplished some stuff that I am so proud of. Of course one of them is being a wife with a very good husband and was able to find a job and learned how to drive. The weather here in the states is so extreme. Summer can go up to 100 degrees and winter could go down to negative zero. Since winter is coming I need to buy winter stuff. We moved to a house 2 months ago and I can not find my stuff.

I was wondering if I need to buy special stuff for myself. I guess it's my husbands job right? Hmmm I hope he remembers lol.

Jaycee Lee Dugard...I am proud of you...

Kidnapping is one of the unlawful crime that everyone needs to be aware of. Its a form of crime in which the suspect will forcibly seize and detain the victim against his or her will. They will imprison, abuse and even slave the victim forever. Here in the states I read the Jaycee Dugard story in which she was abducted for years from the school bus stop. She was 11 years old when she was kidnapped and was recovered from the kidnappers 2 years ago. How did she able to survive for 18 years of captivity? She is brave and very courageous person who was able to endure the emotional trauma. I am glad that Philip and Nancy Garrido will pay the price. Don't get me wrong but this couple don't deserve to live. Jaycee's life was a terrifying moments with the hands of the Garrido's but she is very brave with bunch of hope...According to her, survival is her strength not her shame...

Music In Air

I was wondering where's Sheryl Cruz today. She was a sensational singer in the 80s. I love her songs and her movies with romnick sarmenta. As I browsed you tube I found some of her songs and I love  listening to it. I also found a new canadian singer Martha Joy whose rising in GMA as a new sensational singer too. I love Vina Morales, Tina Paner and most of our filipino singer. I love music but I don't have a good voice lol. Our filipino singer are just so talented. Not all them shine forever but their songs will immortalize them. It keep them alive and played in the air. I love music and my dream is for my child to love music too since my husband recorded his own hip hop music. That would be tight! filipino rapper/ballad. Can't imagine the outcome lol! Indeed music feeds my soul when it became weak. I just turn my radio while driving or get into utube when I am home.

Memorial Day Holiday

We had a great dinner at Texas road house tonight. We went to a family friend and twas fun. I would say I had a very relax week end. I tried to get enough sleep and set back. I am having a very stiff schedules lately. Am I liking it? Hmmm I must say yeah! I remember 2 years ago, I kept wishing to be busy and here I comes. I have no right to complain since I wish for it. Hubby and I have been trying to settle our finances and it is really working pretty good. We always see to it that all the bills are being paid and we are not behind. I guess it's about keeping your budget in a right track. I am very thrifty but if you ask me if I love shopping? yes I do too. I just know what I need and what I want. I always weight things out before spending. I wish I was able to take pictures but I enjoyed playing with my friends 11 months little girl. She's the cutest and adorable. Anyways happy memorial day to everyone...might go window shopping or even grab some clearance stuff. Other country do not celebrate memorial day. So to those who has no idea, memorial day is a commemoration or remembrance to those who have died in our nation service and I guess only here in the United States celebrate this one. I am glad because I have a holiday off for this celebration.

Forex Balikbayan box

I sent a balikbayan box through forex last march 16 2011 and finally my family received the box today may 14th 2011. It was more or less two longer months when they eventually have the box in hand. I was wondering what cause the delay es but I guess perhaps our home town is the last municipality of Bakidnon. But almost two months? geese that was a long time to wait. Everything was in the box but the spanned of time that they waited is really too much. But anyways I am just glad that they all like it and they finally have it. I have another box to send and I guess I will send it again in the same company. I hope this time it will be faster.

Strep Throat

I am having a severe strep throat right now. It started last Friday and so I called in at my job. We had a sudden dr. appointment and good thing the clinic was not that busy. All I thought that when I eat or drink sweets I usually get sore throat. But not right now, they checked me in for a trep throat and to be honest it is very painful. I never had strep throat before, sore throat yes and it don't take for so long. I have been enduring the pain for almost 3 days now and my throat is still swelling. The doctor gave me some antibiotics and I have been eating chicken soup. I am hungry but I can't eat more solids at all. Anyways, strep throat accordingly was cause by bacterial infections. Some symptoms includes such as fever for over 101 F, swollen tonsils, lymph nodes, white and yellow spots behind your swollen tonsils of throat, severe headache, body pain and more.

Tragic Ambush in Malaybalay Bukidnon That Killed Four Cops

Ambush? Killings? what else? This is an act of evil doings. I hardy believe that behind the busy street of Kaamulan Festival and the exultation of this events killed four cops in a row. I was in face book when one of my friend posted about this tragic event. Accordingly there were four Malaybalay city cops who where killed an another four wounded and injured.

How many lives must be wasted? why can't we have the same goals and motivation? Everyone is talking about peace and order but I guess this will never be achieve. I personally extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the victims. Its sad we all feel your lost and I hope that your lost love ones will be given justice.

Life is precious and no one escape death but the police officers died very untimely and in ruthless way. They aren't like pigs or animals to be executed like that...Sigh so sad!

I need to change my withholding tax for next year...

I filed my tax with H&R block but I am a little bit frustrated. I owed a bunch and I did not even know why. Its my first year of working and I filled up my 1040 form. I did not know about withholding tax and that messed me up. I got most of my checks every pay check.

Now I need to change my withholding tax. I don't want to owe next year. Its better to get less than paying a bunch later. Anyways If i will change my withholding tax, i will probably get bunch so why sacrificing right now and enjoy myself later.

Now I need to apply the law of gratification. Putting myself to a little sacrifice and gratify it later...It sounds good to me though! Then my goal tomorrow is to change my withholding for the next year!

Words of Wisdom for the Day

I am so glad to see our new picture frames in the living room. I am so proud of hubby of framing it. The pictures was taken during his baptismal and am so proud of him how he took it seriously. He loves the elders and they always visited my Sam at least twice a week. They talk about the scriptures and how the word of God help us in our daily basis. I am so glad how it brings more blessings to our life. I love it and I feel that our marriage function more in a very righteous way. Me and hubby has some words of wisdom today and we learned that "we need to walk with faith not by sight" we can not expect all the things to be visible in our naked eye but let's keep believing of the things that is invisible to our vision . We also believe that our faith must be accompanied with good work or else faith without work is nothing. I love life despite of some issues every now and then. I just took it as a challenge that makes our life more meaningful and interesting...

The Stoning Of Soraya M.

Every culture carries different belief and practices. As part of the bible story, Jesus Christ condemn the stoning to anyone who commit adultery. I must admit I agree with his teachings. I do respect different religion and I am not mentioning any religion in my article. But I felt so downhearted to be ab led to watch the movie " The Stoning Of Soraya M." To tell you guys it was one of the most tragic  act of condemnation.

The story of the stoning of Soraya was unjust. It happened in the remote village of Iran. The ruthless incident started when Soraya's husband Ali, tried to divorce her but Soraya refused to do so. He asked his own friend Mullah to propose to be mullas lover. Mulla will provide monetary support and protection to Soraya but again Soraya refuses.

To make it short, Soraya end up working to a widower for his kids and Ali get a chance to set up soraya into cheating. He told everyone in the village that Soraya is having an indecent affair with a widower. It was not true but since Ali forced the widow to claimed that they are having an affair for the exchange of his son's safety, then Soraya was convicted. Adultery is punishable by Stoning to death and it is an sharia Islamic law. For Ali if Soraya will die he don't need to pay child support.

Its a long story and I feel so hurt of the unjust punishment. As I said I respect all culture/religion but this one is unlawful and if they believe the commandments of God then this kind of punishment must not be done at all. I guess everyone must watch "the stoning of Soraya M.

My Personality

Do you know what kind of personality do you have? I met people that I thought they are genuine. But they are just phonies and wearing a mask. I guess words are not enough to define the true color of the person. Some people speak the goodness of their heart, but they are very poor on their actions. They know the path of righteousness but their works are way disappointing. I guess people are just people regardless of the race, culture and religion. We thought that if someone is going to church regularly, they are more genuine compare to none church goer but we are wrong. We all have agencies to choose which path and what choices do we need to pick. For me people has several personalities but all I can say I know who I am and am lucky to recognize my personality. Not perfect but not messed up either!

Best Organizer

I love interior designs and remodeling house designs. Our condo is just right for us and once a month I change my bedroom and living room arrangements. One of my friend said that I need to get some courses in interior designs. I love keeping my house in a new designs, new arrangements. I love my place with new interior stuff. I guess it would a be a great opportunity if I will try another set of career and that is to become a home interior designer lol. Hmmm crossing my fingers, that might happen because even at the job my boss acknowledge me as the best organizer....New award...Best Organizer of the year! yay

Dreams

Dreams are something to be work hard not something to be given freely. All the things that I achieved was not given freely. I worked hard for it before getting it. When other people are experiencing an easy life I wonder how they appreciate the blessings. I have a good life but I work for it. I savor all the moments to be happy and be successful. I love watching real life stories especially to those people who thrive hard.
